Shiratorizawa Academy’s volleyball team, based in Sendai, ranks among Japan’s top eight. With powerhouse ace Wakatoshi Ushijima, they rely on brute strength and precision. Their trust in him is symbolized by a solitary eagle—standing in stark contrast to Karasuno High’s flock of crows.

Fukurodani Academy is a powerhouse squad out of the Kanto region, captained by the charismatic ace Bokuto—one of the nation’s top five outside hitters. He’s steered the team to Nationals three years in a row.

Inarizaki High is an established volleyball powerhouse, with many appearances at Nationals under its belt. Often dubbed the “strongest challengers,” they’re known for their bold risks and unconventional playstyle. The team thrives on cunning tactics and clever moves.
